Deputy Head of the School and Principal of Primary School & Middle School
Jie serves as the Head of both Moonshot Primary School and Middle School. With 20 years of experience in education, she has held diverse roles such as administrator, teacher, educational program leader, consultant, IB teacher trainer, and IB program verification officer and evaluator. Before joining Moonshot Academy, Jie worked at various international schools in Asia and the United States. She earned her Ed.D. from Vanderbilt University.
Guided by Moonshot's values, Jie provides strategic leadership and oversight for the academic and administrative functions of Grades 1-8, supporting teachers and staff in fostering a collaborative and safe working and learning environment for all. She is also responsible for aligning daily practices with Moonshot's mission and vision, which encompasses promoting the growth and development of both learners and staff, facilitating effective communication, ensuring compliance with national and local regulations, and cultivating a positive organizational culture.
