I graduated with a B.A. in English from Beijing International Studies University. My academic qualifications are a bachelor's degree and a National Teacher Qualification Certificate. I am interested in the educational field, especially through interdisciplinary language arts inquiry. Students are enriched by interdisciplinary connections, deepen their understanding of course content, and broaden their interpersonal relationships. I am confident I am a good fit and worldwide teacher in school with my 9-year teaching experience in international schools and bilingual schools.
I can design and adapt to different levels of topics according to students' proficiency and have used visual and hands-on teaching methods, which are more specific and inviting for younger students. Building working relationships across cultures and with students of diverse abilities has been highlighted as a major strength in my teaching. I plan to become a teacher with a persistent pursuit of education ideals, advanced pedagogical knowledge, rich teaching experience, potential for scientific research, outstanding specialist skills, and a teacher who can greatly impact students, parents, and my school.
I can collaborate very well with other teachers to create an inviting and friendly bilingual learning environment for students to learn and grow not only in language but also in cognitive and behavioral morality. I consider myself to be hard-working, flexible, and compassionate.
When I'm not teaching or studying, I love to explore my creative side through visual arts. Whether it's painting, or experimenting with different art forms, I enjoy expressing myself and bringing my ideas to life on canvas. Art helps me relax, and it's a way for me to connect with my imagination and the world around me. I believe that creativity plays an important role in both personal growth and teaching, and I try to bring that inspiration into my work with students.
For the teaching part, I will analyze and research my teaching behavior, writing good teaching summaries and reflections. To explore the teaching approaches and regularly evaluate my teaching and learning programs, recording students growing footprint, constituting self-education teaching research, and becoming a research and development-oriented teacher. I will be diligent in research and brave in practice. In my teaching work, I should learn more from others and read more, apply what I have learned to practice and improve the depth and breadth of my teaching practice. To practice solid basic skills, enrich my education wit and at the same time pay attention to self-cultivation and teaching. To share best practices with colleagues to make self-cultivation more excellent. Build up my professional development and make persistent efforts for my ideal career.
