She graduated from the Physics Department of Capital Normal University with a bachelor’s degree and obtained a qualification as a high school physics teacher. She later pursued a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Science Education at Monash University, Australia, earning a teaching certification for middle and high school mathematics and physics in Victoria, Australia. During her time there, she taught high school mathematics and physics. Upon returning to China, she dedicated herself to international education and further pursued a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instructional Leadership in the United States, where she also completed a teaching practicum at a local high school.
As an educator with expertise in both mathematics and physics, she has taught middle and high school mathematics, IGCSE Physics, and AP Physics in Melbourne and Beijing. She has also served as a coach for Harvard University’s Wide World program, “Teaching for Understanding,” contributing to teacher training. Driven by her commitment to exploring learner development, she studied advanced child education psychology at the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Since joining Moonshot School in 2021, she has worked closely with her team to optimize the middle school mathematics curriculum, establish a mathematics competition club, and address the unique developmental needs of middle school learners, while actively participating in various grade-level initiatives.
She firmly believes that education is a profound encounter of “seeing” and “respecting.” While these concepts may appear simple, they carry immense challenges and significance. During adolescence, learners often face moments of conflict and dialogue as they explore their boundaries and personal values. As a companion on students’ growth journeys and a mother of two, she approaches education with openness and sincerity, holding steadfast to the belief that its essence lies in recognizing the unique beauty of every individual and nurturing growth with genuine respect and care.
