She earned her master's degree from the University of Westminster and gained three years of valuable experience as a homeroom teacher and Chinese language teacher in a public school in Beijing. Currently, she continues her exploration in international education, having completed a two-year teaching cycle as both a CLA teacher and a reading teacher. She is pursuing an educational ideal that is unique yet not completely detached from the practical needs of real life.
As a CLA teacher, her responsibilities are diverse. On one hand, she is dedicated to Chinese language teaching, meticulously guiding students to master language knowledge and deeply appreciating the extensive and profound wisdom of Chinese culture. Through lively classroom explanations and rich cultural examples, she helps students build a solid language foundation and allows them to roam freely in the vast ocean of Chinese culture.
On the other hand, she understands that interest is the best teacher for learning. Therefore, she strives to ignite students' strong interest in Chinese language learning and Chinese culture. Through innovative teaching methods and diverse cultural activities, she sparks students' desire for knowledge and plants the seeds of lifelong learning. She not only focuses on students' learning in school but also inspires them to maintain their love for the Chinese language and culture after leaving campus, encouraging them to continuously explore and learn.
The role of a reading teacher is particularly profound in meaning. She is dedicated to transforming her classroom into a window, leading students to glimpse the vastness and depth of the world. Through the platform of the classroom, she enables students to traverse time and space, experiencing the vicissitudes of time and the vastness of human knowledge amidst the changes of the world. She not only imparts knowledge but also places great emphasis on cultivating students' reading habits, hoping that through continuous reading and accumulation, they will gradually develop the ability to think deeply, learn to draw wisdom from between the lines, gain insights into the world, and form independent and profound opinions.
She is a firm believer in the concept of "education through love," deeply convinced that love can bring children genuine inner identification and profound change. In her view, the imparting of knowledge is not a one-way infusion but a process filled with respect, understanding, and listening. She always believes that only in such an educational environment filled with love and care can children truly thrive and bloom with their brilliance.
