She earned her Ph.D. in Optics from Beijing Jiaotong University in 2016 and furthered her studies at Imperial College London and Heriot-Watt University. After completing her doctoral studies, she conducted postdoctoral research in organic photovoltaics at the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, where she developed strong research skills. In 2019, she transitioned into the education sector, bringing the rigorous approach of scientific research into her teaching practice. In 2023, she joined the Moonshot Academy as a mathematics teacher, dedicated to inspiring students' interest in mathematics and helping them achieve outstanding academic progress.
I currently teach mathematics to Grade 6 and Grade 7 students. I see this role not only as a responsibility to impart knowledge but also as an opportunity to inspire students' potential and guide them in discovering their strengths. Each student has a unique way of thinking and learning, and I aim to help them gain confidence in their mathematical abilities through diverse teaching methods. I hope to spark their interest in mathematics by showing them the beauty of logic and the joy of applying math to solve problems. I hope students realize that mathematics is not just a subject in the classroom, but an essential tool in everyday life. Through learning mathematics, students will gain a deeper understanding of how the world works, develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and ultimately enjoy the convenience and beauty that mathematics brings to real-life situations.
I enjoy immersing myself in different ideas and stories through reading. Books allow me to experience the charm of words in quiet moments. This peaceful way of learning helps me better understand and absorb new concepts, while also encouraging me to think more deeply about how to incorporate these ideas into my educational practice. In addition, I am passionate about playing games, solving puzzles, and building blocks with children. These activities not only enhance parent-child interaction but also help me better understand a child's interests, thinking patterns, and creativity, sparking imagination and innovative thinking, and making simple activities more enjoyable and meaningful.
Education is a wonderful power that can light up students' futures. The joy and sense of accomplishment I feel when seeing children grow into better versions of themselves through education are irreplaceable. I am particularly passionate about mathematics education because mathematics is not only a science but also an art. It holds endless mysteries and allows us to discover and experience the beauty of mathematics in everyday life. I firmly believe that every student has unique potential, and by finding the learning methods that suit them, we can spark their initiative and creativity. I hope to help each child discover their strengths, enabling them or to not only master knowledge but also learn to think independently and move forward with confidence. The path of education is long, but it is these small yet profound changes that make it incredibly meaningful and motivating for me.
