Wu Yiyao

Educational Product Designer at the Science and Technology Innovation Center, Science and Technology Competition Coach

Wu Yiyao joined the Lunar Exploration program in 2023, graduating from Beijing Information Science and Technology University with a major in Artificial Intelligence. During his university years, he accumulated extensive experience in robotics competitions such as Robomaster and in robot development. He was a core member of the Reborn team, which advanced to the finals of the 2021 competition, winning several national first prizes with the team. He is familiar with mechanical, hardware, and algorithm design for robotics and can independently conduct full-stack robot development. He can also build a complete robotic system from scratch. His personal projects cover various fields, including 3D modeling, embedded development, and machine learning algorithms.

He is a designer for K12 science and technology innovation courses, equipped with rich experience in science and technology projects and teaching. He plays a key role in both design and practical teaching, committed to creating a unique science and technology experience. Additionally, he is responsible for designing holiday camps, such as summer and winter camps, providing students with engaging and challenging technology activities during their breaks. He has an in-depth understanding of robotics technology and can flexibly apply this knowledge to present it in science and technology courses, fostering students' creativity and problem-solving skills.

He has a strong passion for cutting-edge technology and is also a history enthusiast. He focuses on hardcore technology fields such as augmented reality (AR), 3D printing technology, and robotics, as well as the history of production technology, international politics, and biographies of historical figures. In his spare time, he enjoys creating small robotic projects based on his recent observations and interests and, as an independent third-party developer, he develops AR apps, designs 3D models, and experiments with applying cutting-edge technology to solve his own problems, exploring the integration of advanced technology and real-world needs. Additionally, like many learners, he enjoys playing video games such as Minecraft, but he is particularly skilled at setting up servers in Minecraft, building redstone circuits, and researching command blocks, interacting with these old friends related to hard technology.
