Carlos Fiol holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with minors in Military Science and Art. With 19 years of professional teaching experience, Mr. Fiol has taught grades 6–12 for 10 years in Texas, USA, and at four other schools in Beijing. His teaching expertise includes English Language Arts, ESL, English Literature, American and World History, Career Studies, World Cultures, Media Literacy, IB Theory of Knowledge, and IB Individuals & Societies. He has also served as a Department Head.
At MSA, Mr. Fiol brings his wealth of experience and dynamic teaching methods to the English Language Arts classrooms for Grades 7 and 8. He aims to cultivate a global perspective in his students and ensure personalized attention by knowing each student by name and need.
Mr. Fiol is originally from Puerto Rico and was raised as a U.S. Army brat in various countries. He is passionate about sports, cinema, culture, and Star Wars.

His goal is to create dynamic global citizens who are curious, knowledgeable, and well-prepared to engage with the world.
